

Now you can enable it by running enable_filter.bat and disable it by running disable_filter.bat. If you are super cautious you can even copy original Patch_D2.mpq to some other location. You should find there Patch_D2.mpq file - make a copy in the same directory and rename it to Patch_D2 - Original.mpq. Just copy Patch_D2 - Loot filter.mpq, disable_filter.bat and enable_filter.bat to your Diablo II installation directory. This rectanle can be seen on screenshots. While item names were replaced with empty strings they still get that residual "rectangle" which when clicked will pick up the item.

The instructions say "Unpack the VersionChanger.7z into your Diablo 2 install-folder (default: C:\Program Files (x86)\Diablo II)", but I can't find a file called VersionChanger.7z, unless that means the entire zip file and not something individual? By that, I'm not sure if it would be the actual zip file itself or the VersionChanger folder that is within it.ĮDIT: The readme also says I can't downgrade if I'm using the digital game, and I have to use an MPQ file or install from the discs. I'm sure I will eventually figure it out, I just need to play around with it a bit.
